These Ilex crenata cones are all 60-70cm in height and are a good way to add a stylish feature to the garden.
Ilex crenata is also known as Japanese Holly and is similar to Box in that it has small leaves and clips well into tight shapes. Ilex crenata has a darker green colour to the leaves and the leaves are slightly more oval shaped and glossy. They produce small white flowers in the summertime followed by shiny black fruits (non edible).
