Product Overview:

These Leylandii trees are second rate quality, meaning they have some bare patches at the base (the lower 2 feet) which may or may not fill in with new growth. Because of this, they are not suitable for formal hedges where a neat, full appearance from bottom to top is required. Instead, these trees are ideal for general screening purposes.

Ideal Uses:

• Screening for farms, industrial estates, or large properties

• Creating fast-growing privacy barriers where a perfect hedge look is not essential

Growth and Care:

• Fast growth: Expect 2-3 feet (60-90 cm) of growth per year when left untrimmed.

• Trimming: Once the trees reach the desired height, trim annually in spring or autumn to encourage side growth and maintain a manageable size.

• Spacing: Plant 2 feet (60 cm) apart for best results.

• Watering: Especially important if planted in dry summer months. Use a leaky hose system for efficient watering during the first year to help establish roots.
