Hydrangea Vanille Fraise in a 7.5lt pot

Hydrangea Vanille Fraise in a 7.5lt pot

These bushy Hydrangeas are Hydrangea paniculata Vanille Fraise which is a beautiful hydrangea with loose pyramid shaped flower heads that emerge creamy white before turning through shades of pink as the summer progresses, for some late summer colour, before reaching rich pink tones in the autumn. Supplied in a generous 7.5-litre pot, these bushy, well-established plants are perfect for making a statement in beds, borders, or large containers.

For those Francophiles out there, this is an excellent variety of Hydrangea developed by the French and from your school French lessons, you will recall that Vanille-Fraise means Vanilla-Strawberry, so named due to its colouring.

‘Vanille Fraise’ thrives in moist, well-drained soil that’s enriched with organic matter. It does well in both full sun and partial shade, making it a versatile addition to most garden settings. Unlike some hydrangeas, it’s not fussy about pH, so there’s no need for acidic soil to enjoy its vibrant blooms.
